First New Veg of the Season

The growing season is on the way, the seeds are germinating at a good rate, and we are now picking the first veg of the season
In our little poly tunnel we are now harvesting spinach swiss chard and young beet leaves (the thinnings) in the photo you can also see my young crop of mixed salad leaves that I am growing in a length of guttering.
The first early potatoes have now reached the top of there barrel
there is another 2 containers of potatoes 2nd earlies and main crop.
My experimental container grown onions are coming on well.
I have one container of white onions and one of red onions, I am not expecting them to grow massive, but it will be interesting to see how well they do in containers.
I also have a few troughs of carrots growing in the tunnel.
Considering its only 9ft long we can grow a fair amount in it.
