Day 2 Summer Visitors

Today was a hot sunny day for the family
We had to get shade up for the baby and paddling pool filled for toddler to play in
He was as happy as a pig in poop playing with water
The girl we happy to do acrobats

We did get some good action shots
I got some spinning done, or as the kids say doing granny stuff
Martin was preparing crayfish for dinner with some help
He managed to catch 64 this week
There was a baking session going on in the kitchen
Pineapple upside down cake
Cooling down with home made ice lollies
Dinner this evening was a late one when it started to cool down, we had a BBQ using up last years corn on the cob from the freezer, salad from the poly tunnel, crayfish followed by that cake and goats milk raspberry ice cream.
All asleep now and tomorrow is another day.

p.s. we found something today in the small attic I will share it on a future blog, a bit of an insight to life here in the 80's

  8. I just adore crayfish. A pub near here that does good food at lunch time does a marvellous crayfish and apple salad.

  9. looks like everyone is having an amazing time! I desperately searched for a waterway with a crayfish problem that I could trap for the free meal aspect of it but to no avail, it seems they are not such a pest in southern essex
