Putting Hubby to Good Use

Hubby is home for the week end, I had sent him an Ikea shopping list so he could pick up the units I was after to bring up with him, today he put all the bookcases together and I spent the day filling them with books, it was great getting all the books unpacked
we have these either side of the fire place,
I also got him to bring in some of the heavy boxes and they are now all unpacked, today we have really made headway into getting boxes unpacked.
At last my new cooker has been brought into the kitchen and is all hooked up.
It has an induction hob and comes with an A energy rating, we are not planning to use it a great deal as we will be using the Rayburn, there will be occasions that the Rayburn wont be on
After hubby had been so good and did lots of odd jobs done he had the rest of the day off to play with his tractor around the field, he is still out there now and its 9-30pm, he does love his little tractor.
We went into town first thing this morning we had to pick up pig feed in readiness for our little porkers arriving, fingers crossed it will be tomorrow.
We also did our weekly shop it came to a grand total of £8.75 and £3 of that was on apples and carrots for the Alpacas, that left milk and soap powder for us.
The ditches were dug and pipes laid today for the new water supply, unfortunately while digging the ditch they went through the phone cable, so most of the day was spent with no phone or internet, it was finally fixed early evening. I wasn't expecting it to be repaired today was expecting to wait until Monday.
We also popped into the village car boot we didn't buy anything but got chatting to another couple from the village who moved here 9 years ago, similar set up to us he travels back to work each week and comes home at week ends, there is a few other couples in the locality who do the same.
Right time to find my hubby he is still out there in the dark what is he up to.

  1. We were given a single induction hob that you plug in. Took some getting used to. I'm glad he loves his tractor. I think I would still be out on mine if I had one. Bless, boys and their toys x

  5. I'm nosey like Sue ! My husband tends to be a bit of a slow starter, but when he gets going there is no getting him in. He was in his man cave until 10.30 the other night mending his grass cutter and making bee hive parts.
You really are coming along nicely there. Looking forward to seeing the pigs.
