Time For Other Stuff

Firstly I want to share with you the view this morning

Doesn't that look fab, I stopped at the end of the drive and took them photos this morning on my way to the craft group, the low cloud hanging about in the valley looks mystical.

Now a bit of Recycling, I came across this idea a few weeks on the web,
cant remember were I saw the idea.
Take an old tyre and cut it through the middle with a disk cutter
So you end up with two donut shapes, hubby cut these for me.
You then have two great feeders for poultry or livestock
plenty of room for everyone to get around for something to eat.
I was struggling to find a shallow feeder that has enough room for everyone to get around at a reasonable price, the plastic trough feeder I was using with Alpaca girls was too lightweight and would get blown about in the wind, I also needed a suitable feeder for the ducks.
We have just put up electric poultry netting as we have had a fox visit, it happened in broad daylight and I caught him red handed, he killed one of the cockerel and run off with one of the chickens.

An update on the chip on the Rayburn, the company that installed it phoned me today they have ordered a complete new top for the Rayburn and it will be fitted in the new year.

A little bird tells me that its Christmas next week so its time I got a few things done, a few Christmas posts will be on the cards this week of our very simple Christmas.
