What A Lazy Day

It wasn't nice out there today, wet windy and cold the animals were fed, the washing was done, logs brought in for the day, I lit the fire

 and to do a bit of furniture shifting, then made the fatal mistake of sitting down with a cup of tea, while I checked that the TV was working ok and I had connected it all correctly after moving it, I flicked through the channels all was working fine then I got watching a film, a Christmas film, before I knew it, it was lunch time the weather was showing no let up so another film was in order and a 
 chocolate treat, Kara was happy to lay in front of fire all day sleeping.
4pm came and I donned waterproofs, fed the animals and took Kara for a walk to check if there was any post, brought more logs in shut everything up for the evening put animals to bed, then back in front of the fire again. So today I have done nothing, never mind there is always tomorrow.

    You work so very hard, a snuggly day inside when it's raining outside sounds good, just waiting for the rain to arrive over here.

      Its what they call a duvet day but there was no duvet :-)

      I dont feel guilty if it was nice outside then I would berate myself for not making the most of it but it wasnt :-)

      I love flakes, I keep them in the fridge then reward myself with them :-)

    I should think you deserve a lazy day by now. Call it recharging the batteries then it sounds like you're doing something proactive, which you are of course.

      I didnt just sit idle I did crochet myself a hat and made some plans :-)

    It's a real treat to give in to a day like that every now and then, and very well deserved as you always work so hard!
